Summer Vacation

Well, the days are winding down now to summer vacation. I am not sure who is more excited, the kids or the teachers. Certainly not most parents...and why is that exactly? They have kids and then can't wait to send them off to school and get them out of their hair. Being a teacher that loves her students (most of the time), I get frustrated. Not only do they send them happily to school, but then they don't even bother with the meetings or concerts, etc...This of course is not ALL parents, but it is enough.....to frustrate the heck out of this teacher.
